Eureka Hellas:
Immediate support to the earthquake victims in Thessaly
The Greek company Eureka Hellas rushed to the side of those affected by the strong earthquake in Thessaly, giving donations of products which exceeded € 10,000 in value. The products were delivered to the Thessaly region which is responsible for managing donations, and included over 3,500 pieces of detergents and disinfectants.
This is not the first time that Eureka Hellas has taken immediate action in the context of corporate social responsibility actions for the relief of our fellow people facing permanent or emergency needs. True to this timeless commitment, in 2020 for example, the Company allocated a total of over € 100,000, offering money and products to various organizations, mainly to alleviate the increased needs created by the pandemic and the intense natural disasters throughout Greece.
In the case of the recent earthquake, which caused significant damage in the region, the goal of Eureka Hellas was to cover the immediate needs of about 600 families, whose members found themselves in a whirlwind of particularly difficult conditions. The representatives of the Company who were in the area, wished the authorities and the residents a rapid recovery from this great ordeal.
